Project Manager, Neurology

Department: Neurology Implementation
Location:

The Project Manager owns a project from the early sales phase to completion and guides internal and external teams to make sure requirements and processes are followed. Works closely with sales during the quotation phase on technical requirements and adherence to product and equipment policies and advises customers on system requirements.

Key success factors include optimal revenue conversion, project cycle time efficiency, maximized clinical and installation utilization, project and departmental budgets, and high customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions and Main Duties

  • Manage project creation and owner assignments for department to ensure proper capacity load
  • Serve as a technical and installation consultant and function as a knowledge resource for sales, customers, installation, clinical, and technical support personnel
  • Work with sales team during quotation phase to ensure equipment and required services are accurately quoted
  • Work closely with customers in various order and project stages to consult and facilitate communication with the customer regarding installation, clinical, and/or network requirements
  • Oversee all scheduling of resources and ensure timelines are met
  • Lead implementation team to ensure quality implementation is performed at customer sites
  • Work closely with customer resources including IT, clinical, and other involved parties to facilitate coordination and timing for various installation and clinical related activities
  • Ensure appropriate resources are allocated and on site for the project
  • Ensure that all installation related activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure all installed products are working, configured, and documented before the project deadline
  • Ensure that clinical training has been completed in full
  • Ensure projects are appropriately closed out and formally handed off to service and/or appropriate follow up teams
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time based on business need

Education / Certification / Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, project management, neuroscience or related discipline; relevant education and experience accepted in lieu of degree
  • PMP certification preferred
  • END certification preferred
  • 3+ years of experience with installation in a directly related environment, previous project management skills preferred
  • Ability to effectively participate with and technically advise neurology implementation teams
  • Basic knowledge of products and installation requirements
  • Basic knowledge of project management principals and methodologies
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting knowledge
  • Level and compensation depend on location, experience, education and skills

Competencies Required:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to work cohesively with various specialties including construction, IT, electrical, clinical, and similar
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant programs pertaining to products
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing, and to receive and understand verbal and written instructions in English
  • Able to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment

Compensation

The anticipated range for this position is $44,000 to $92,000. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, experience and location.

Working Conditions

Schedule: The regular hours for this full-time position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in assigned territories, Monday-Friday, unless otherwise stated by the department manager. Holiday, weekend, and evening work hours may be required. Regular hours may vary due to the needs of the organization or department and are subject to change at any time at the Company's discretion.

Physical: Generally, may require some reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying up to 20 pounds, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, standing, walking, sitting, hearing, visual acuity, and color vision. More specific details may be provided as needed or requested.

Travel: Approximately 40%

Access to Customer Sites: It is an essential function of this position to perform duties in healthcare facilities, and to achieve the necessary vendor credentialing. As part of this process, it is typically required to provide proof of vaccinations (including for COVID-19), and related personal medical information, and to comply with other criteria as needed to be able to work at customer sites. Typical vendor credentialing expenses will be paid/reimbursed by the Company.
