The Financial Analyst provides technical and operational support to accounting, finance, and commercial teams. Supports month-end activities, including analyzing and reconciling budget and expenses, and assists the VP of Finance on various projects.
Essential Functions and Main Duties
- FP&A business partner for commercial organization, including monthly actual vs budget/forecast reviews, quarterly forecast updates, budget process, FP&A special projects / Ad hoc analysis
- Communicate with and respond to internal Sales team regarding their sales incentive plans.
- Update forecast of monthly gross margins based on sales orders and projects
- Support Sales team on analyzing customer performance and potential new business, including gross margin analysis for deals
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track necessary KPIs relevant to the business
- Partner with sales leadership and marketing team to develop financial models and forecasts for potential new business promotions or programs to support the growth of order volume
- Support the annual development of sales incentive plans with Finance team and Sr. VP of Sales
- Improve financial models and reporting templates to summarize KPIs and create efficiency for team
- Demonstrate a high level of intellectual curiosity with ad-hoc projects to identify opportunities to reduce expenses and drive more profit growth
- Seek opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting systems, automate reports
- Provide support for month-end activities, including accruals, reconciliation of B/S accounts,
- Assist in monthly reporting for NKA’s Sales team to track performance and determine commissions earned based on customer orders, shipments, and payments

Qualifications
Education / Certification / Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related discipline; relevant education and experience accepted in lieu of degree
- 2+ years of experience in forecasting, finance, and accounting
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred
- High level of competency in Excel, Powerpoint, other Office related tools
- Level and compensation depend on location, experience, education and skills

Compensation
The anticipated range for this position is $80,000 to $110,000. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, experience and location.

Working Conditions
Schedule: The regular hours for this full-time position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, unless otherwise stated by the department manager. Holiday, weekend, and evening work hours may be required. Regular hours may vary due to the needs of the organization or department and are subject to change at any time at the Company's discretion.
Physical: Generally may require some reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying up to 20 pounds, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, standing, walking, sitting, hearing, visual acuity, color vision, and 2-way written/verbal communication in English.
